Ferrari Trento to be served at The Frick Collection’s annual Young Fellows Ball
Each spring, supporters of The Frick Collection and their friends look forward to the annual Young Fellows Ball, one of the most highly regarded and widely covered social events of the New York season. The celebration, scheduled for March 15 this year, is themed Virtue & Vice and inspired by Paolo Veronese’s painting from 1565, “The Choice Between Virtue and Vice”, from the museum’s permanent collection.
Guests will fill the elegant Garden Court and Music Room for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dancing. In concert with the theme, Ferrari Trentodoc will be served at the dedicated “Virtue” bar, whilst spirits will be served at the “Vice” bar. Ferrari’s ability to bring a touch of the Italian Art of Living that combines elegance, joy of life and profound respect for history, makes it the perfect toast for this prestigious evening in New York City.
Proceeds from the event will support museum programs, such as those of the education department, which serve New York City public schools in all five boroughs, and the Frick Art Reference Library. The galleries were once the private residence of Henry Clay Frick and his family. The great collector assembled a remarkable group of masterpieces including paintings by Degas, Fragonard, Goya, Manet, Rembrandt, Turner, Vermeer, Whistler, and others, as well as Renaissance bronzes, Limoges enamels, Sèvres porcelain, and French and Italian furniture.
